Happy Wednesday

Hi Friends

How is your week going?  We've been enjoying some really lovely weather in Indianapolis this week (for January anyway).  The sun has been shining and the temperatures have been in the 50s which is great for January, especially considering the snow and cold from last winter.

Today, I'm popping in to share a Lawn Fawn card featuring the Bugs and Kisses set.  This set is so super cute, and it wouldn't need to be limited to Valentines projects.

Speaking of Valentine's projects, Winter Sims is doing her annual Cards from the Heart card drive for children's hospitals. Check out her blog for the information. it's such a worthy cause, I hope you join in to contribute. I've been making Valentines in my spare time and hope to get a bunch to send to her. She has a lot of sponsors lined up and will draw winners from those who send in cards (just an added bonus for participating in this wonderful card drive.)

So here's my card, and it will go into the supply that I plan to send to Winter.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to be posting more Valentines projects in the coming days.

It's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Lawn Fawn.  The winner will receive a stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn.  For this one, we are asking you to create your own background with stamps.

Here's what I came up with of the challenge:

Lawn Fawn Scripty Love

Hi Friends

Thanks for stopping by today!  The Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues. It's all about LOVE and Valentine's day. Today, we're featuring a new Scripty Die, and this one is Scripty Love. It is a great addition to the scripty Lawn Cuts.

Here's what I created:

I put it with the Polka dot papers, Hearts Lawn Cuts, and the Tags.  I layered the "Love" sentiment using the various pinks to add some dimension.  (I should've photographed a side view to capture that depth...next time:))

Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn inspiration week

Hi Friends

I'm woefully late again in posting my projects for this Lawn Fawn mini-release.  Since I'm behind, I'm going to share two projects today.

First up, using the Bugs and Kisses stamp set:

This set is adorable! Although it's being released as a Valentine's set, it can be used well beyond Valentine's day. It will be so great for spring and summer projects.  It is so cute.

Next, I'd like to share a project using Whale You Be Mine:

This is another fun set that will go with so many other cute Lawn Fawn sets.  It's super fun.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow

Lawnscaping Challenge #95

Hi Friends

Can you believe it's December already? Time sure does fly by! This year has gone so quickly.

It's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge.  This is a new monochromatic challenge, but focused on white on white.  I struggled with this at first but since I completed my first project, I've been doing a lot of white monochromatic projects since.  (Be forewarned, you will be seeing more white on white projects in the future).

This challenge is sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp online store.  The winner will receive a $25 shopping card at their great store.

This is what I created for the challenge.  It looks a little yellowish in this photo, but it's related to me learning to edit my photos better rather than the project.
Hope you decide to play along.  Be sure to visit the Lawnscaping blog for more inspiration.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi Friends

Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. friends. I hope you've enjoyed a blessed day with friends and family.  How many are gearing up for Black Friday shopping?  (Not this girl, I've tried to get most of mine done before Christmas, which I have!)

Anyway, I'm so excited to be joining in the 25 Days of Christmas Blog hop.  This hop is so timely since we are all going to be needing Christmas tags in the very near future!  Here's the tag I made for the hop.

This hop has some great sponsors, including the following:
  • Lawn Fawn
  • Clearly Besotted
  • CAS-ual Fridays
  • Neat and Tangled
  • Paper Smooches
  • Reverse Confetti
In order to be eligible for a prize, you will need to comment along the way.  Each of the blogs participating will pick someone randomly, and then we will give the name to Tracey who will draw the final winners. Super fun, huh!  So get hopping for your chance at some great prizes!

Hi Friends

It's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge, "Count Me In."  The challenge is to incorporate numbers in your project. This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

With the end of the year fast approaching, I decided a fun New Year's Card was in order.  Here's what I came up with:
