Papertrix class

Hi Friends,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted on the blog.

I started this post last week and then got side-tracked.

I wanted to share some photos from the classes at Papertrix.  There were two classes, and it was so much fun.

Here’s a photo of the class:

(look at all that stamping goodness on the walls at Papertrix---it’s a fabulous stamping store!)

And here’s a photo of sweet Emily and me:

It was so much fun to meet her in person.  She’s such a sweet girl, and she drove over 2 hours to come to the class.  So happy to have met her and hope to craft together again! Be sure to check out her blog.

I thought I’d share some more photos of the projects we made in the class. Here’s a gift bag that we made in the class

Lawnscaping challenge #46

427180_4331793301868_1118466619_n

Hi Friends,

It’s time for a new Lawnscaping challenge.  The challenge is all about tags.  With Christmas upcoming, I think home-made tags are a fabulous touch to gifts.

Lawn Fawn is sponsoring this challenge and will give the winner a free stamp set.

And here is my project. I used the fun new Lawn Fawn Winter Owl along with this specialty wood grain paper (that I cannot find or remember the manufacturer, unfortunately).

Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends

Hi All

Happy Friday!  I am SO happy it’s Friday, this week has been so crazy and stressful.

Today is the last day of the Fawny Holiday week. Check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see the other projects being featured.

I made a card using one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets, Making Frosty Friends.

I love the pink, aqua, white and kraft colors together.  It’s hard to see, but I did add some stickles to the centers of the snowflakes.

For those of you who live in Southern Indiana (or south eastern Illinois, or Northern Kentucky), the Papertrix classes are tomorrow, and spots are still open (the last I heard anyway)!  We are going to have some fun making some holiday projects!

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Snow

Hi Friends

Lawn Fawn's Fawny Holiday week continues, and today I have two projects to share with you.

The featured stamp set is "Critters in the Snow," but you can see that I used several others to complete the scene.  (I love how Lawn Fawn sets work so well together).

Critters in the Snow, Critters in the Forrest, Critters Ever After, Hats Off to You and Happy Everything

Critters in the Snow, Critters in the Forrest, Let it Snow, and Hats Off to You

Papertrix class

Hi Friends,

I hope you’ve enjoyed a great week.  Mine has been really busy.  I’ve had something going on everyday or night.  It’s catching up with me. I’m feeling pretty exhausted.

I wanted to share on the blog today something fun.  I’ve been asked to teach a couple of Lawn Fawn classes at my favorite stamping store located in Southern Indiana (Nashville, Indiana to be precise).

The classes are on 17 November, and will be at 12:00 noon and 3:00.  The cost for each class is $15, and we will make at least 3 projects.  Oh and I will be offering up prizes.

Thought I’d offer some sneaks of what you could make if you join in the classes….

Class 2

Like I said, there will be at least 3 projects for each class.  I’ll bring some home-baked cookies and some give aways.

I’d love to have you join in and come!  Here’s the number for Papertrix if you want to sign up: 812- 988-2002.

Thanks for stopping in, hugs and blessings!

Lawn Fawn and Marker Pop

Hi Friends,

I’m woefully late in posting this, but it’s such a fun collaboration, I figured better late than never.

Lawn Fawn and Marker Pop are partnering to share ideas using Copic Markers with Lawn Fawn stamps. Coloring Lawn Fawn stamps with Copic Markers is really my favorite way to use the stamps.  Coloring is such a stress reliever for me, it takes me back to being a kid again. I love it.

Here are the projects I shared for the blog post today:

mp

(I used Harvest Season, So Thankful, Happy Everything and Dewey Decimal)

Next up a little Holiday ensemble:

winterfox_basket

(I used Winter Fox, Lawn Trimmings and Fa-La-La)

Hope you enjoyed these projects. Be sure to head over the Lawn Fawn Blog and Marker Pop blog to see the projects.

Have a great day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 45

551889_4470730215204_1311635941_n

Happy Monday

I hope you had a great weekend. I know most of us dread Mondays, but this one is the start of a fun new Lawnscaping Challenge, called Dust ‘Em off.  For the challenge, you are to use some supplies that you haven’t used in a long while.

This challenge is sponsored by the online store, Simon Says Stamp. The winner will receive a $25 shopping certificate.

So here’s what I came up with for my card…

dustemoff

I used the Lawn Fawn sets “Happily Ever After” and Belinda’s Borders.  I needed a wedding card, and I hadn’t used the Happily Ever After set in ages, and I haven’t used the heart border much from Belinda’s borders.  I hope you like!

Please visit the Lawnscaping blog for the details on the challenge and to see the other design team projects. I hope you play along!
